PDLC Film

What is PDLC Film ?

PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) is made by injecting a kind of liquid crystal/polymer hybrid material  in the middle of two transparent  conductive films.

PDLC  film is driven by  AC power; When power is OFF, the film is foggy/vague; when power is ON, the film is transparent and its transparency can be controlled by infrared sensor, remote control, wired controller,voice, mobile applications, frequency transformer.

1. Privacy Protection. 

When power is OFF, the film is foggy/vague; when power is ON, the film is transparent.

2.Safe.  

Even if the glass is broken, the fragments can still  be adsorbed on the PDLC film, which can avoid  personal injury caused by broken glass.

3.Anti-noise.

The noisy is 20% lower compared to galss without PDLC film.

4.Ultraviolet Prevention Rate  ≥ 99%

5.Infrared Prevention Rate  ≥ 60%

6.Heat-resistant and anti-scratch. 

The maximum operating temperature is 105℃. The anti-scratch layer protects the surface  of the product from daily scratches and does not affect  the clarity of the product itself.

7.Highe Light Transmittance 91% when power is ON.

8. Touch screen and projection.

Glass with PDLC film supports  4K and 3D video projecting when it's foggy and the video can be multi-touch video interaction via  radar technolody.

Directly pasted to existing glass, windows.
